Educate Together has been informed that the Department is liaising with Kildare Wicklow Education and Training Board in relation to this matter.
Although Educate Together has not received any commitments concerning the timeline for the delivery of this project, it hopes that this will be achieved as quickly as possible.

The Department has also undertaken to provide temporary accommodation for the school up until the time that permanent accommodation will become available, it is meeting the leadership of the school on December 17th to explore various options in the vicinity of the current school. It has also undertaken to provide weekly updates on progress until such temporary accommodation is secured.

Educate Together would like to assure the school, its staff, parents, students and prospective parents and students, that North Wicklow ETSS is a fully funded government initiative and that Educate Together has confidence that Department will fully meet its obligations to provide for the accommodation needs of the school.”
